Looking back to 2008

In 2008, during Base Power's early days, we installed our first power unit for Powerco in a remote, challenging location. The terrain was rugged, the environment unforgiving, and access was limited to a demanding 4WD track. Despite these obstacles, our team successfully deployed the unit, confident in its ability to perform under such tough conditions.

16 years of reliable service

Now in 2024, that same unit continues to operate, providing consistent power for over a decade and a half. Its ongoing performance is a testament to the durability and reliability of Base Power's technology.

Innovative problem solving

One challenge this unit faced was accessibility. Road issues sometimes made traditional maintenance impossible, requiring helicopter servicing instead. Yet, thanks to its robust design, the unit has needed minimal intervention, demonstrating the value of resilient, low-maintenance solutions in remote areas.
